TEFKOT make under floor heating cables are available in various wattage ratings, ranging from 150 Watts
to 3000 Watts, with or without shield ( Refer table T1, T2).

SALIENT  FEATURES:

  • PTFE Insulation : PTFE Insulation over the conductor element prevents it from thermal aging. The life of the wire once laid is as long as life of the Building.

  • Maintenance Free: Electrical under floor heating cables are maintenance free as they do not have any moving part as compared to hydronic systems which have valves etc requiring maintenance from time to time. Also tubes in hydronic system get blocked due to contamination and needs periodic replacement  .

  • Very thin: Diameter of cable is thinner than the diameter of cable with other insulations like PVC etc. It makes the laying very easy . Nominal diameter of the cable is as small as 1.2 mm for unshielded and 2.4 mm for shielded cable. This factor minimizes the rise of floor level during installation.

  • Moisture resistant: Shielded PTFE insulated heating cables are specially designed for working in places that are prone to moisture, like Bathrooms, etc.

  • Operating Voltage: Under floor heating cables are designed for operating voltage of 230 V AC/RMS .( Cable can be designed and manufactured for any voltage rating).

  • Linear Wattage: TEFKOT make under floor heating cables are made in 10 Watts/Lin.meter for shielded cables and 12 Watts/Lin.meter for unshielded cables. ( Cables with different Linear wattages can also be designed as per customers request).

  • Cost effective: Prices of TEFKOT make under floor heating cables are internationally most competitive.

  • Application: Under floor, Under tile, under carpet heating systems.

  • Other Applications: Custom made heating cables can be manufactured for use in car seat heating , heated towel rails, heating blankets, soil warming, water pipe warming, snow melting applications etc. Please send us your specifications and we would be pleased to design cables as per your specifications.
